Reach1 Teach1 Youth Mentoring (R1T1) knows your personal information is just that—personal. The purpose of our Privacy Policy is to inform you about the steps we take to safeguard your information before, during, and after you visit our website, make a donation, or participate in any of our ministry activities. What Reach1 Teach1 DOES NOT do
R1T1 does not share, sell, or exchange ANY of your personal information with ANY of our ministry partners or other organizations. PERIOD. All personal information you provide is kept confidential and is only used internally by FtH staff in the routine performance of their duties.
What personal information Reach1 Teach1 collects
R1T1 may collect personal information provided from individuals who engage R1T1 as a donor, supporter, volunteer, mentor, mentee, and traveler. This information can include:
- Name, physical address, telephone number, and email address
- Credit/debit card number, expiration date, and security code
- Limited medical information IF traveling with R1T1 on a mission trip.
How Reach1 Teach1 uses your personal information
R1T1 uses the information you provide to carry out a variety of ministry and business functions, including:
- Providing requested information about our organization
- Managing registration and attendance of events
- Communicating with mentees
- Completing financial transactions. Credit card information is used ONLY to process donation transactions and is not retained for any other purpose.
- Issuing donation tax receipts
How Reach1 Teach1 safeguards your personal information
For electronic transactions, R1T1 uses up-to-date encryption software (including Secure Sockets Layer [SSL] technology) to protect personal and financial information. R1T1 does not see or retain credit card information provided electronically to our third-party payment processing companies. All other electronic information is maintained on our secure servers. Information provided on paper forms or printed copies of electronic documents is stored securely by R1T1.

R1T1 DOES NOT utilize third-party advertisements on our website or in other electronic communications. Like many popular websites, our website does use “cookies” to collect small bits of information from your web browser when you visit our site.
